Not sure if this is the right place to ask for help. Sorry if not, Mods please delete if needed.

About 8 months ago - i had suspicious activity on my account. I confirmed my account and changed the password. A few days later I decided to pause my account to leave instagram for a while.

Fast forward a few months; i try to login and I cannot. I even verify my email; get a code and enter the code and prompted to put a new password. Then I get an error. I can't log back in. Does anyone have any info/help/suggestions?

i tried emailing instagram; but no real help.
