I’ve been researching more about deductions and I got into how you can write off your vehicle (down payment, gas, insurance) and then the monthly payments and insurance and gas with the preceding months as long as it’s paid and recorded through the business account and quick books or whatever app you use. Has anyone been able to do this with Instacart? Does it count as a business on its own? Or do you need to/is it worth it to open an LLC to do this? Thank you very much! I’m aware you can choose to do mileage instead but I haven’t gotten a car yet so this seems very appealing lol.
Also as a completely separate questions you can also write off business items to help you with your gig work like phone plan, phone holder in car, gps, wagon or push cart to easier carry big orders, what’re some things you guys use for the job or write off in addition?
