Customer died in apartment fire
Post Body

I just had to share this with a group that may understand. I delivered somewhat regularly to a man, and I liked him very much. He lived alone in an apartment.

Just the other day I was thinking that I hadn’t seen an order from his recently. Then I heard today of a fire in that apartment last night. They said one man died. I just knew it would be him before I even read the name.

I am so sad. I only knew this man by his first name and his grocery orders, but I was always happy to see him. I don’t think other people would understand the connection/relationship we had or why I’m so devastated.

Thanks for listening.
