...it is my responsibility to make up for how little Instacarts pays its shoppers. To be clear, I have no problem with tipping, but my tip should only be in addition to the shoppers wages and not the prime reason they accept my order.
Ya itâs fucked how these apps market themselves. In reality they shouldnât be calling it a âtipâ they should call it a bid, because essentially they force the customers to bid for the driverâs time. I assume they donât do that because they understand how sleazy their policies are.
Ehh people on both sides are deluded, the comments from the customer based threads are full of vile disrespect towards the shoppers as well. Itâs the whole goal of the business model. Customers and shoppers beef with each other and the ghouls up top make more an obscene annual salary. Itâs pretty gross.
