I need to record the action in a 8 hour fishing tournament on both the front and back decks with a camera mounted at the center console. Don’t really want to be dealing with changing batteries every 90 minutes during a tournament, so I intend to run it plugged in all the time.
Will it overheat if we do this ? Is there anything we can do to mitigate that ? Other alternatives?
Update: been running this plugged in on the boat for several months now in all kinds of weather. No overheating issues. Biggest problem is the amount of time it takes to run through 8 hours of video to select the highlights. I’d the the remote was functioning properly and didn’t require a manual reactivating each time it was used this would be much easier.
