I know that clearly defies the industry title mollywood itself. But I believe for more exposure to the content and art from our industry, not only throughout india but throughout the world, we need to make movies primarily in english rather than the local language. Im not talking every movies, but atleast some that deserves a global audience. Industries in the east of Asia are doing it and they are on the oscar stage now. Parasite(2019) , everything everywhere all at once(2022) are all examples. I know Kathanaar(yet to release) is being made in english as well but thats just a dubbed version.

Let me know if there are movies like this that I’m not aware of. I’m talking about mainstream movies.
