Reddit friends,
I have had my special needs foster in home for just under 48 hours and I'm realizing very quickly that she requires special equipment and items for training/comfort that I just don't have the funds to provide alone and I am trying to keep costs to a minimum for the rescue.
The biggest ticket item I'm looking for is a sturdy, collapsible travel crate that's 40" long. I originally thought she would thrive in a play pen but I'm quickly learning that she finds much more comfort in places that are dark and secure like under the bed or in her giant crate with a sheet over it. She is awful in the car but will be needing transport to her specialists and medical Appointments enough that I need something easier to transport with. Especially because I have herniated discs all through my lumbar spine and just can't handle the regular crates. I am willing to trade my used but basically new 40mm Samsung Galaxy Active2 smart watch with Bluetooth wifi and phone line capabilities in rose gold for it.
I'm begging that the wonderful people in the inland empire will see my plea for Valkyrie and help in even the smallest of ways. Any donations can be scheduled for pick up at your convenience.
This is Valkyrie's wishlist. It is updated daily as I learn more and more about what she needs to thrive and what my service and I need to accommodate our space for her (like odor removing candles).
This girl has been through so much but I have seen tint glimpses into the soul she is behind the shades of trauma and its going to be a long journey, but it'll be worth it.
If you'd like to hear more about Valkyrie's story, feel free to send me a message. If all you can do is share her campaign to your social media, then please do so. Every little thing helps.
Thank you in advance.
