Let's say I want a very thin vertical stripes pattern:
To do so I create a pattern made of two rectangles, white and black, 2 pixels width each. That means the pattern will repeat every 4 pixels and fill the object with a 2 pixels width pattern of vertical lines. However, when I fill an object with this pattern it scales to seemingly a random size, way bigger than the original, and even if I manually scale it down with its given nodes (which by the way seem to appear randomly at any point of the image), it rescales each time I scale the filled object.
I just want any given object to be filled with 2 pixels stripes, no matter how much I resize the object. Is there a way to create such a thing? If it isn't an option then I honestly think that pattern filling tool is flawed and should be fixed.
