As a graphic designer thrilled with typography, and not a tattoo master, help me understand Chris Nunez' comment on Josh's tribal tattoo regarding the Old English letter "S". Chris said that he didn't like the line going through the "S" as it throws it off and it makes the letter look like a different letter almost at first sight. However, with most of the Old English "S" imagery I know of, and found online, that line is common for that style of lettering.
