Last time I got a pedicure, my pedicurist was messing with one side of my toe & pressing on the side asking if it hurt. Recently, I went to clip my own nails bc I did have a dulll pain, and idk if my nails are just weak but as I pulled the nail off (bc the clippers didn’t get thru it bc they suck) it didn’t rip straight across and my nail then kinda ripped off downward diagonally and into the side of my toe. 3 days later, my poor toesie hurts. Therefore the nail is trying to grow back in, and must be growing right into my skin again. I’m waiting for an appt with a podiatrist but what can I do in the meantime of the inflammation and pain? How do you get a nail tech to not fuck with your toenails in such a way? I had an ingrown nail on the other side of my nail bed recently, the reason for that one, idk, idk if it was the narrow converse I was wearing. I remember even when it was healing I had to ask the tech to not mess with it & she still did (thankfully without any repercussions)
