How bad does the numbing needle hurt ?

Soooooooo, I hate feet. Always have lol. But recently got an ingrown nail due to the way my nail was cut 🙃. Anyhow how does the numbing needle hurt ? It’s bad enough I don’t like feet & now the thought of a needle going into my toe 🥲
