Hi, I'm playing for 3 weeks now, I'm level 3 and read things about different stories and strategies of people. But there's one thing I still have absolutely no information about, and it is Shields. I have deployed a few of Common, Rare and Very_Rare on various Portals but I still don't have any clue of what they really do. I assume they reduce damage taken from XMP Bursters of course but... how much ? What does that "Mitigation" means ? Does anyone have found an explanition, or maybe experienced it on ground ? I like to understand the machanics of this game and I find annoying that I'm doing things I still don't understand.
