scenery packs vs 4x4 - new player question
Post Body

Potentially new player looking to get into the game. A big draw for me was seeing all the scenery packs while looking for terrain for other games. I was really attracted to both how cheap they were and that the playmats were 32x24". I've been looking for a skirmish game that plays in a smaller area - particularly one that I could sit comfortably and play on a foldout card table. Imagine my displeasure when reading the rules pdf, the game recommends a 4'x4' play area.

My question is for kitchen table play at home, will the 32"x24" scenery provide enough space and cover to enjoy the game or does it really need to play on a 4'x4' space to appreciate the mechanics fully?

Thanks in advance!
