Which weapon variant do I pick?

Here in a few hours I’ll finally have my 1st 4000 salvage for a weapon variant. Since this will be my only good variant since I just got the game, what should I choose? I’m torn between the Sentinel, Butcher, or Machete. Keep in mind that I only need to complete Beast from Beyond EE in order to have DC and I play solo 99.9% of the time. Please give me your thoughts on a weapon and why I should pick it over other variants. Thanks!
