So my wife admitted to being involved in an affair about 4 months ago to me. No judgement please but we have technically separated but not formally through the state abs we’ve not started divorce proceedings. We continue to live In Our martial home at the moment.

The “man” she is seeing came out of the blue last year online but it’s someone she knew in high school and they bonded I guess over their unhappy marriages. My wife broke down after several months and told me about the affair as the plan was to wait till his kids abs out kids are out of high school which is at least 3 to 5 years. My wife felt she couldn’t play it off and hide it from me tbst long.

Regardless this guy who is her soul mate apparently still wants to wait the 3 to 5yes before he tells his wife abs 5 kids and moves on with my wife. Is he just playing her and feeding her lines to get sex or what’s going on here?
