Hi all,
I'm pretty new to the world of indie makeup/perfume/etc! I've been doing a lot of browsing on here recently and really enjoy reading all the posts (especially the perfume ones – restraining myself from spending all my money on weird scents!).
I'm slowly working through my collection of mostly-drugstore, entirely-non-indie makeup. I've been trying to avoid buying from corporations and instead buy from smaller independent businesses lately for all of my purchases, and when I'm finally ready to buy new replacement makeup, I want to purchase as much as I can from indie brands. However, I've got one problem – I'm a sucker for packaging, and it seems like lots of indie makeup brands do not have pretty packaging.
For example, I've bought a few eyeshadows from Fyrinnae and I'm super pleased with the quality and the pigmentation and everything – it's just that the little plastic containers aren't very pretty. I also bought an eyeshadow palette, the name of which is escaping me right now; while the product is great and super pigmented, the packaging is super low-quality and an ugly color. I've finally got all my makeup organized and on-display, and as I gradually indie-fy my collection, I don't want to see it get uglier. :(
Does anyone have recommendations for indie makeup brands with attractive/aesthetically pleasing/decorative packaging (and also good quality products, lol)? Thanks so much!
