So ever since I discovered just how much shadow is contained in a single eyeshadow sample, I have been unstoppable. It's gotten bad. Like many of you, I decant these baggies into little jars for easier use, visibility, sense of boundless hoarding, etc. but as those of you who do this know, this leaves a layer of eyeshadow behind on the inside of the baggie that will not yield to tapping, flicking, smushing, or tears.
AND THAT IS A LOT OF EYESHADOW.
More than I want to part with at any rate. So I keep the "empty" baggies in a box, none of which have labels anymore. Most of the time I go through my regular indie stash to decide my look du jour, but on occasion I decide to commit to the Sample Surprise and dig around that box of baggies to put together an eye look... and then guess what colors I could possibly have just put on my face.
Anyone else ever done this? Do you wanna? :) I dare you~!
