When should I be applying for the APS certificate? (for 2024/25)

I'm planning to apply to different universities in Germany for the Winter Intake (September/October 2024) and I was wondering when was the most ideal time to apply for the APS certificate.

APS Certificate requires the undergraduate degree certificate from the college you're studying in, but what should I do if I haven't got that by November (note: i will only be in my 7th semester by then) because most universities open applications by that month?

How long is the APS certificate valid for after it is issued?

Is there anything else that should be known during the application process besides the instructions given on the website?

I would really appreciate all the help!
