Not sure if I'm alone in this, but back in like 1998 or something, while we were still on Windows 98, we got our first ever computer, with its CRT monitor that would get soooo hot after sometime, and the 128Kbps modem, and back then I believe most computers getting built got some free demo games. One of those games was Road Rash.
Here's a video if you want a trip down the memory lane

I have such fond memories of playing this game. So many hours went into replaying the same old thing.
The reason I bring this up is that recently I ran into this video :-

I was delighted to learn that this game just wasn't some old game that died out. They have been developing this series all this while. Maybe I'm the only one who didn't know, but anyway, I checked steam and found Road Redemption to be on sale (at Rs. 211) and just installed it today and it's honestly super fun.
It's a visual upgrade for sure, but also comes with a campaign mode with a story and lots of fun upgrades and engaging gameplay.
Something to check out. Just thought I'd let other oldies here know hehe.
