For my build I recently purchased a MSI Z690 Tomahawk Wifi DDR4 motherboard and I had an issue with the first two RAM slots not working. I went to the nearest Kaizen infoserve center and gave them the unit, explained the issue. They took it in and said I'll get it back in 2 weeks and that they will be sending the unit to the MSI service center in Delhi. We're in Chennai. I got an email with the RMA number and I was able to use that to track the progress on the RMA via Kaizen's website. The unit took nearly a week to reach Delhi and in there, they had it for 2 or 3 working days and then shipped it back. Took another week to get it here in Chennai. Overall it took 3 weeks. But the issue was fixed and everything works. Overall it was quite smooth, no unexpected horror stories.
I am making this post because when I was choosing this product, people kept telling me how awful MSI is and that I shouldn't go for it. It made me reluctant. But my overall experience has been quite solid. The product itself is extremely good. I love the design, aesthetics and features and everything.
So if you are planning to buy a MSI product but aren't sure about their after-sales service, don't worry. It's all good.
