Post Body

Hey .. just checking if anyone has any inputs here.

I have a WD Green 240GB SATA M.2 SSD which has my OS. Single partition and more than 100GB free (less than 50% full). I know this is not a fast SSD (also without DRAM) and read speeds seem OK, but it has very slow write speeds. In fact when I copy large files (say a 10GB file) from my 2TB HDD, the speeds are dropping to 30 to 40MB/s. As a result my SSD usage touches 100% but my HDD usage is around 25% during the copy. How can the SSD be so slow?

SSD seems to be fine and healthy otherwise. Anyone has any inputs?

Attached 3 images. 1st pic showing CrystalDiskMark Info. 2nd pic showing that WD's dashboard showing my SSD has the latest firmware. 3rd pic show the Task manager Performance tab showing the disk usage during the copy operation (Disk0 is SSD and Disk1 is HDD)
