I have this Lenovo Z5170 laptop, I think its graphic card is dead because every time I try to install AMD(dGPU) drivers, it crashes with blue screen until I uninstall them in safe mode. I have tried everything, using DDU in safe mode, reinstalling windows, even completely formatting my hard disk, getting latest drivers from AMD site, old drivers from AMD, drivers from Lenovo's site. I have cleaned out the fans and replaced thermal paste.
Unfortunately, This started happening 10 days after my 1 year warranty expired and apparently this is a common issue with my laptop model because there are lot of people on forums with same issue as mine. I sent email to Lenovo customer service about my problem but they never replied back. I went to Lenovo service center, described them my issue, told them installing AMD drivers would cause BSOD. They took 3 days and said they fixed the issue. I came home, opened the laptop to find it was crashing 10 seconds after booting because all they did was install the AMD drivers.
Here's my laptop specs: Intel 5200U, 8GB DDR3 RAM, AMD R9 M375 4GB.
Is there any way of getting a working dGPU in this laptop?
