Meta Quest 2 - worth it?

After lot of procrastination, I'm willing to try out a VR headset. I have done some basic research and landed on MQ2 as it is within my budget. Now my question is, is it still worth in 2024? If so, where do I purchase it from ? Im ready to try out pre-owned item as well. Checked on gameloot and it goes for around 22k. Is this alright or can I find it cheaper elsewhere?
And will the tear n wear matter ? Will I lose anything by getting an pre-owned item?
