So I come here with the age old question.
Whether to buy a mid range gaming laptop or build a gaming desktop?
So I have been always wanting a machine that could do some decent gaming and video editing. It's been my dream for a decade and I can afford to have it now.
Before I dive into the details, let me give a background information. I have a decent amount of knowledge on how PC works and know what goes where. I have been taking care of things software wise including installing the OS for my desktop and that of a few friends and family members's computers. And hardware wise I know how to install a ram or hard disk but not enough to assemble a Desktop with all the parts available. So if I go for desktop, I would need assistance to build one the first time.
So it has been a lifelong dream of mine to get a PC that can play some high end games and editing videos is my favourite hobby. I'm not a hardcore gamer though. So I don't require 4k ultra HD settings. A decent 1080p is good enough for me if I wanna play wwe 2k23 or rdr2.
I have come across a few good pc specs here for mid range gaming. My idea is AMD ryzen 5 5600g with b550 motherboard and 16gb ram paired with a RX 6600 or GTX 1660 gpu. All that and the other parts puts the budget a little bit around 70-75k. I already have monitor and other peripherals. So. Only the CPU.
With the big billion days and Amazon Great Indian festival, I guess I came across some good gaming laptops that promise to deliver a good performance. Plus laptops would be portable so I can carry it around if I decide to take it when I travel. Also I believe I can hook it up with my monitor and keyboard and make it a workstation at home if I like to.
My budget is around 70k. So far, I've come across these.

Sorry for the boring details. But I want a clear idea to choose which.
And if it's laptop, I'd also really appreciate some recommendations.
Thank you so much.
Update: I've decided to go for the desktop as you guys adviswd. I'll be getting to cpu setup for now which should be around 35k and get a graphics card later when something good comes along. I guess it'll alao be easy on my credit card. Lol
