i got a new large unpolished granite m&p for grinding my spices, i use to have a small marble one which was impossible to grind what i needed fine, fast, or in quantity. While the new much larger one goes faster it still takes a good 20mins or more of constant gridding to get semi fine ground coriander powder (i usually do 1tbps or 1 1/2 at a time for my masala) cumin takes a only a minute or two and most other spices go fast. is this a thing with coriander because if it’s flaky seeds or is my technique off and or mortar and pestle not good enough? going in smaller quantities doesn’t make much of a difference
