Me and husband were craving for bhajjias/pakoras and made onion pakora, potato bhajiya, eggplant pakoras and chilly pakoras!

After a long time, I made pakoras, used whatever veggies were at home. It's not exactly healthy but so very tasty especially on a cloudy day! I just used the basic ingredients and same coating for all 4 veggies. Who loves pakoras here?

Ingredients:::

• 2 cups of gram flour • 1/2 cup of plain flour • 1/2 cup of rice powder (for crispiness) • 2 tbsp red chilly powder • 1 tbsp turmeric powder • 1/2 tbsp Garam masala • 1 tsp chat masala

Directions::

  1. Mix all above ingredients to get a thick paste.
  2. Potato bhajjiya -- Cut potato into round wise slices. Microwave them on high for 2 to 3 minutes.  Cover each slice in flour paste and deep fry in oil.
  3. Onion pakora --- Slice onion round wise and cover each slice in flour paste and deep fry in oil.
  4. Chilly pakora --- I used banana peppers, sliced each into 4 to 5 pieces after removing all the seeds inside. Cover each slice in flour paste and deep fry in oil.
  5. Eggplant pakora --- Made small pieces of 1/2 an eggplant and put them in the flour paste. With a table spoon, take 1 spoon of flour mixed pakora and deep fry in hot oil.
