Chicken garlic roast Video

Ingredients & Preparation:

Oil 1 tsp mustard seeds 1 big Onion chopped lengthwise 2 tsp garlic (cut into small pieces) 1 tsp ginger (cut into small pieces) 1 big tomato chopped lengthwise 1 tsp turmeric powder 1.5 tsp Kashmiri chilly powder 2 tsp Garam masala (or curry powder) 4 tsp pepper powder Salt as needed 1/2kg chicken boneless - washed and cut 2 tsp garlic powder (fresh garlic paste can be used, in fact it would be my first choice: I used garlic powder just because it was available and quick) a quarter of a Lemon Ghee

Heat a pan with oil. Add mustard seeds and let it splutter. Add onion and saute with garlic and ginger. Cook until onion become soft and changes color. Add tomato, once soft add spice powders - turmeric, chilly powder, garam masala, pepper powder and salt. After few minutes, keep it aside. Marinate chicken with garlic powder, pepper powder , salt and lemon juice. Heat another pan and add 1 tsp of ghee, roast the chicken pieces till its cooked. Once chicken pieces are fried, add them into our masala gravy. Mix thoroughly and let it cook for few minutes. Our Garlic chicken roast is ready!

Tastes good with any breads - naan, roti and rice! Or you can simply eat them as appetizer :)
