I have a ton of lentils, chickpeas, and beans (moong and chori) plus rice flour, coconut powder, shredded coconut, and plenty of spices such as mango powder, tamarind, curry leaf, methi, etc.
I haven’t cooked a lot of Indian dishes, and I’m finding it difficult to search for recipes based on ingredients, because I don’t know the combinations that are usually put together in the first place.
I’m short on fresh ingredients, basically cabbage, potatoes, and onions. My grocery store yesterday had bananas and that was about it. I do have a few frozen veggies, plus canned tomatoes. I’ve been watching YouTube cooking shows for ideas, but it hasn’t quite come together. I would love some recipes heavy on the lentils, beans, and chickpeas. What are your favorites?
