i followed these steps but i feel something is missing:
- boil water
- add chai patti to boiling water
- add laung cinnamon elachi
- add ginger
- add milk
- add sugar (aukat ke anusaar)
- sieve
seems pretty standard to me - but it doesn't give me the kick i get from chai at home. any thoughts?

With anything, it's all about quantity.
The video doesn't go into any detail with regards to the quantities.
The only thing you can do is keep experimenting with quantities and make notes.
