We've got many fights going on and many more to come. But let's not forget about the fight that possibly has one last chance to be won: Leonard Peltier

Obama has, as of right now, approximately 55 days, 20 hours, and 30 minutes before he leaves office.

He has dropped the ball on a lot of things when it has come to helping out Indian people, particularly with the Dakota Access Pipeline.

But he is reasonably the last chance we have to get a U.S. President to pardon Leonard Peltier before he passes away.

If he moves onto the next world before being freed, it will be just another reminder than this country doesn't care about us. Please do whatever you can to fight for his freedom. At the end of the day, the next Leonard Peltier could be your father, your uncle, your mother, brother, sister, niece, nephew, grandparent - it could even be you.

As the last remaining months of President Obama’s term pass by, my anxiety increases. I believe that this President is my last hope for freedom, and I will surely die here if I am not released by January 20, 2017. So I ask you all again, as this is the most crucial time in the campaign to gain my freedom, please continue to organize public support for my release, and always follow the lead of the International Leonard Peltier Defense Committee.
