Every time one makes the front page, the first few top comments and chains are usually fairly positive, but then it just diverges into anti-Indian sentiments and a severe lack of understanding about Tribal law, U.S. law, sovereignty, and...just about the whole situation.
And there are certain common individuals shilling out misinformation all over the place in every thread about it.
Short of killing a Water Protector, I don't think there is much that will convince some people of the injustices going on. And even then, I bet you someone would be like, "the police are innocent here and just doing their jobs!"
