Ta'c léehyn. (Good day)
It has now been 5 months since an idea was conceived and launched. This idea, while not the first in its field, has grown into a great place. Just 3 months ago, we had only 200 subscribers, but now we have doubled that within 2 months. Pretty good growth, in my opinion.
Anyways, I would like to take this time to thank all who contribute and make this subreddit what is truly is - a community.
The mod team is very grateful that people have taken an interest here to show their native pride. We have seen the start of several great things. This is by no means a complete list, but here are a few:
The Digital Powwow Podcast (Two episodes are posted, with a third coming soon!)
And even an article giving us credit from Indian Country Today Media Network!
Much has been accomplished since the start of this community and we hope we can accomplish even more in the very near future. However, we must we industrious. The Creator did not make our world within a day, for He wanted to take his time in doing so.
This is not some clinical forum. What makes us alive is us. Participation is greatly appreciated here. So please, comment, post, and discuss. We've all done good so far. Now, let's keep it up!
In line with our goals, the mod team would like to open this up to all of you as well. Are there any things we can improve upon? Anything y'all would like to see added or removed? General thoughts about the subreddit? Please, let us know down below in this thread.
Qe'ci'yew'yew. (Thank you)
