There is no kind way or simple way, to say what I am about to so please know this isn't something bad or hateful. Just curious. Here I go.
I am 40 years old, my father is a full blood Cherokee and my mother is 7/8 Bad River Chippewa. So I am not a full blood myself. I have no children. With being said....
Am I the only one who feels bad about not having kids? Don't get me wrong I am no place even close to having a child, not to say able to take care of one. . My father is the last of his kind as in, he knew Cherokee before learning english in school. Yet still there are so few of us who still well look native.
Now you can see the reason for the first sentence. Cause really what I am asking is should half blood and more, make a real effort to seek out one another for procreation purposes. To keep not our culture per say, but the Looks. I really dont care about tribes, hell I see us all in north america as one big tribe just different clans.
SO. What are your thoughts? How does it feel? to not have kids and to have native kids? What would be your answer to the this?
