I mean mine is at 0%. The point is you’re taking a stat and trying to make an inference that just because divorce rates are low it somehow means marriages are better. When in fact I’d wager it’s a bit in the opposite direction. Societal and familial pressures to stay in a marriage keep people, especially women, in a position to have no escape from it. This has been shown to be exacerbated even more during lockdowns.
So what are the rates of domestic abuse in India?
