I haven’t posted in forever because of several reasons, most of which are personal. I’ve really dialed back on pursuing my step daughter. Anyway, she showed up unexpectedly tonight. I purposely kept to myself for a change and wasn’t all over her. Well, after a while, she walked over to me and sarcastically said hi, inferring I was kind of ignoring her. I just smiled and she showed me her first tattoo that she just got. It was really cool and on her arm (no dirty places… sorry guys lol).

After a little longer, I decided to get up and see what she was up to before she left. I still maintained my distance, but I noticed she kept looking my way, making a lot of eye contact. I liked it. It felt like she missed the attention I normally give her. I’m taking that as a cue to be closer to her next time.

And next time may be this weekend.

Sorry, my stories are boring. But as I’ve said before, I genuinely love her on so many levels and even without a goal in mind, I’m enjoying how much closer we’ve become through all of this. Thank you for your support!
