My sister and I were originally exposed to the idea of incest because of her one friend's family. Her friends family was active, dad, mom and daughter. My sister learned of it through her friendship with the daughter. Eventually my sister and I would engage in incest ourselves. When it became public about my sister and I being sexually active with each other there was amazingly some support from specifically our dads side of the family. As it turns out our dad was active with his sisters before he met our mom, and his one sister (our aunt) openly practiced incest in their house. That aunt very much took to my sister and I and attempted to be as supportive as possible including giving us the opportunity to expand our incestuous sex beyond just the two of us. Unfortunately after years of being active life just over took us.
My brother and I have been in a relationship for a long time. While our parents do know about us and gradually have come to accept the situation, it would have made things so much better and easier if they had been supportive from the start.
They both worked and could not watch us all the time. We made the most of the time we were alone together. But they did start to suspect something was going on before we told them. They just were not sure exactly what it was.

I don't mind you asking. It took them over a year. They never tried to separate us, but we did have several talks over time after having one long and awkward talk to tell them about us in the first place. I think it was the news that they had a grandchild on the way that helped them decide to just accept us.
