But if that is your thing, read on! I hope you'll like what I have in mind. It's kind of a long one...

The idea is that mom discovers her son watching gay porn, or accidentally finds out that he's had an encounter with another young man at college. He's mortified, but she's more embarrassed for him than for herself, and quickly reassures him that his sexuality doesn't matter to her. In fact, she's proud of him, and wants to do everything she can to support him.

It seems only natural for her to conclude, then, that her son is gay, and since he doesn't realise that she's jumped to wrong conclusion, he doesn't think to correct her.

After the initial shock of the revelation, the two of them find their relationship a little altered. Mom does her best to foster an open, healthy atmosphere in the house, but perhaps goes a little too far - in seeking to reassure her son, she ends up recounting some of her own experiences from college, either with other women or with multiple bisexual men.

She also finds herself relaxing her inhibitions around her son, now that she has (incorrectly) decided that he's gay. If that's the case, there can't be any harm in seeing her in her underwear, or even less. To mom, it's like living with her gay best friend, who just happens to be her son.

Somehow this new intimacy between them develops to the point that the two of them find themselves watching gay or bi porn together, perhaps as part of mom's slightly misguided attempt to help her son learn more about what he likes. Eventually they work through their embarrassment and start, hesitantly, masturbating together. Mom may even share some of her toys with her son. They might even use them on each other.

And then, one day, during another intimate conversation, the son finally realises his mom's misunderstanding, and utters the fateful words:

"But mom... I'm not gay! I'm bi!"

I'm looking to play out the whole of this rollercoaster and then beyond - what does mom do once she realises she's been inadvertently turning her son on? She's mortified, of course... but somehow also touched that he never once took advantage or crossed any line she had imagined existed between them.

They should stop, of course. It's all gone too far already. But what difference would stopping make now? And... doesn't it offer some disturbingly enticing possibilities?

What I particularly want from this RP is to explore realistic reactions from the characters. They aren't just going to throw themselves at each other as soon as the slightest atmosphere of sexual tension arises. They'll hesitate and struggle with their desires, knowing it's wrong, and never forgetting that they are mother and son.
