No more avant garde artists or experiments with new genres were allowed. The new order was find familiar formulas that have worked and double down forcing all signed artists to follow the mandates.

This is WHY most songs on the "top billboard" were written by the same producer/composer from Sweden or Switzerland I forget his stupid name. This is also why lame talentless artists like Beyonce has 8 to 20 songwriters working FOR HER. The big name artists don't even write their own lyrics OR their own music! They follow the agreed upon styles and formulas set by the corrupt narrow-minded record labels. Why? Cuz profits and money. They have the science to manipulate the masses and blind, deaf dummies LIKE YOU are completely unaware of the coercion and deception.

The same thing happens in the mainstream metal world to a lesser degree but rest assured Slipknot is and has been a solely corporate puppet since the day Corey Trailer-park joined them.. it's all cheap dollar store formula compositions except it's backed up by big corporate deep pockets.
