Dealing with Vader in Skirmish Mode - Any tips?

I've played a couple of skirmish mode games and Vader is an absolute monster on the board. In both games he was directly responsible for over 50% of the points necessary to win, not even counting claiming an objective after wiping everyone out. So far, I feel like trying to kite him around the board would be the only way to mitigate some of his strengths but would love to hear from everyone else if they have strategies.
