Please help! I got a positive LMIA but my permit and visa expired while waiting

Hello! I have received an LMIA from my employer but all my permit and visa expired while waiting! I still have the 90 days restoration period and I’m planning to apply online for my work permit which will probably take about 3 months for the results but employer wants me to work for them as soon as next month.

Can I apply for my LMIA work permit via flagpole? (I have some friends who got their work permit via flagpole with expired visa and 1 day expired permits, do you guys think I should do the same?)

Is there any other way to get my work permit as fast as possible?

Please help me be enlightened. Thank you!
