Post Body

Hello guys! So my girlfriend has to go back home and apply for an open work permit via common law because they rejected her PGWP application twice (1st time because of miscommunication on biometrics, second time because we didn’t appeal instead of re applying again). She’s from Malaysia and it says it takes 29 weeks on average to have her file completed by IRCC for her open work permit (from the time she applies again). I just wanted to ask anyone with the same experience if it took a shorter time than the average time displayed by IRCC for them to get a response about an open work permit in Canada (whilst applying outside Canada)?
