Hi guys,
I'm in quite a situation and hope to get some advice. I would really appreciate your help. I was a full-time international student under SDS for 4 semesters in Canada. Then, covid messed me and my family's financial situation (my father passed away) so I had to postpone my study and return to my whole country for 1.5 years. Thankfully, everything is back to normal for us and I'm planning to return to Canada. However, my school counselor warned me that "As for the PGWP eligibility, you must have maintained full-time student status in Canada during each academic session of the program or programs of study you have completed and submitted as part of your post-graduation work permit application. In your situation, your PGWP eligibility will be impacted due to the gaps in your study." So is it really looking that bad for me? I definitely tried to complete 4 semesters full time (even through studying online). Thank you for your time and effort. I really appreciate it.
