I broke up with my LCS yesterday.
Post Body

It's sorta off-topic I know, but also the root of my comic problem here *is* I feel related to the biggest publisher I pull from being Image! And there *is* a question at the bottom! And this community was really supportive when I considered this break-up, lol.

For original context, see this post

I went in to collect my two pulls from this week (Sex Criminals and Ice Cream Man). The one guy, the owner and apparently now only staff member greeted me by name as usual and checked me out at the counter.

After I paid for my issues I looked up sadly and said "I would like to cancel all my pulls". And he looked at me and said "Okay." And it was awkward and I said "ok, that's all done now?" and he said "yes. Is there any particular reason? Change in lifestyle?" I hadn't planned on saying anything to him face to face but I did. I said:

"I feel like you pressured me into buying that TPB last week that you knew I didn't need or want. I've asked for first issues in the past and when I've come in to get them they are sold out and not in my pull list. I never know if I will actually get the comics I have asked for. And when I asked you online (fb messenger) about the Ice Cream Man pin you avoided the question three times in a row. And when I ask you if you would get in 'Strayed' by Vault, you straight up refused. It's sad because I wanted to support the little guy but it's just a struggle, I guess I'll have to move to just ordering TBPs online."

And he said "Oh, I am sorry. I never meant to make you feel like that. We do strive to give the best customer service. I have just refunded you for the two comics you have bought and I hope you [...something else that sounded genuine enough, etc]". And I said "Oh, thank you. No hard feelings I hope. [lol]" I think at the end of the day he's more interested in helping people who devotedly buy DC and Marvel comics each week.

Anyways. I am glad that is done now. I did then try to navigate some of the online services but it's *really confusing* and I could really use some help. Here's the email I sent to '[[email protected]](mailto:[email protected])':

Hi there,

I am new to this website/program. I could really use a few pointers. I’d like to pull some singles, I have listed them below:

Image:

* Sex Criminals - from issue 28 until it finishes (soon I know)
* SFSX - issue 7 onwards
* Ice Cream Man - Issue 19 onwards
* Undiscovered Country (issues 5 and 6 only)
* MAN-EATERS TOMORROW BELONGS TO YOU CVR B (one-shot. Diamond code JAN200176 )

Black Mask

* Nobody is in Control - Issue 4 only (Diamond code MAR191540)

I would also be absolutely smitten if it was possible to get this Ice Cream Man pin? https://www.previewsworld.com/Catalog/MAY190122
Thank you, and I really hope someone can help me because I am really confused by the website! I aim to receive monthly deliveries.

Anyone here able to help?! I can offer assistance in, um.... I'm good at cubing? Gardening in a desert state? And making vegan food?! Also I am really friendly and *generally* very good at computer things. But all the recommended online retailers have a front-end like out of some weird era that was never user-friendly. Or maybe it's because I'm after more obscure titles?
