Man-Eaters 12 - a non-ending to a progressively no-story series :(
Post Body

I had so much hope from the first few issues. This was actually the title that got me in to comics, and the first title I ever 'pulled' - I had never even heard of a pull list before!

Pros:

  • got me into paper girls
  • got me in to image comics
  • got me in to reading comics on the reg

Cons:

  • every third or fourth issue was not a real story issue
  • the actual story issues disintegrated real quickly in to like... WTF is going on?
  • gimme back my $48 (oh god don't ever do the math... I'll try and consider it a donation to my LCS)

anyone know what happened here? Was this always the plan? I've started to cut my pull lists after 2 or 3 issues and I'm wondering if it's because I am secretly worried this will happen again! I feel dumb that I recommended it to so many people! Was this all just a direct result of the author being accused of being trans-exclusionary?
