I had so much hope from the first few issues. This was actually the title that got me in to comics, and the first title I ever 'pulled' - I had never even heard of a pull list before!
Pros:
- got me into paper girls
- got me in to image comics
- got me in to reading comics on the reg
Cons:
- every third or fourth issue was not a real story issue
- the actual story issues disintegrated real quickly in to like... WTF is going on?
- gimme back my $48 (oh god don't ever do the math... I'll try and consider it a donation to my LCS)
anyone know what happened here? Was this always the plan? I've started to cut my pull lists after 2 or 3 issues and I'm wondering if it's because I am secretly worried this will happen again! I feel dumb that I recommended it to so many people! Was this all just a direct result of the author being accused of being trans-exclusionary?
