To my surprise! Such unassuming! When I talked about it today with my LCS, they were like yeah it's great horror. And I was like, horror?! And yep, sure enough it says that above the barcode. I don't/can't watch horror. The manager of my LCS said they can only read one or two issues of ICM at a time lol.

My first thought was it was way more like something outta Black Mask Studios rather than Image. That said, I am glad it is with Image, because I don't have to wait 739 years between issues. I have only read the first volume so far, but Issue #2, Rainbow Sprinkles - it is just incredible. Sort of, Black Mirror-esque. I like how it's not about happy endings.

I am relatively new to comics (6 months?) and once I discovered Image, I was scared that I would never find anything I didn't compulsively love. But I have found one title that did not do it for me at all. Angelic. I am also having a hard time with Seven to Eternity (just can't get in to it) and trying with Black Science. Saga, WicDiv and Descender blew me the fuck away.

But just... wow. ICM is so fucking gritty and refreshing. Can't wait to binge the rest.
