I just opened Reddit and came to this group, and you know why theb I saw a post on r/Philippines asking about people's thoughts on those who take food from cemeteries. It hit me hard because the post showed two kids in worn-out clothes. Some people disagreed with what they were doing, but the saddest thing is, so many people are struggling and in poverty right now, to the point that they’re forced to do things like this. It reminded me of how I used to feel sad about seeing people in need, especially beggars. My heart would break every time, but since I was young and couldn’t help, I just tried to harden myself against feeling too much pity. That approach stuck with me as I got older, but this post really broke through that wall. I was so moved, it’s like every part of me softened. Kahit tigas ng tite ko nawala.
