Holy shit, it's so much better than I expected. I was very sceptical, after the absolute idiocy of the previous 5 Transformer movies.

But Bumblebee... Damn, it actually made sense, the robots look so much better, the cinematography is 500 times better, the jokes are actually funny and the characters are human and you finally care what happens to them.

And the female protagonist is not dressed in a skimpy outfit, fake bronze and filmed from below, which was also refreshing and atypical to the franchise so far.

This proves once again what a chauvinist nightmare of a director Michael Bay is. Removing him from this franchise should've happened about 4 movies ago.
