Boosts gone after prestige?

I don't remember this happening before, but I could be wrong. Any boosts I've applied, (some of these I paid money to get), go away on any mines I prestige. I thought they still apply to the mine, even after, guess not. I noticed it a couple weeks ago and has been happening since. So are we supposed to be avoiding prestiging anything while boosts are applied?
