Every country espoused as an ideal is a tightly populated collectivist society with lots of trains and high amounts of alcohol abuse. Doesn't matter which quadrant we're talking about.

Maybe the exact shape of your society is far less important than the trains, the booze and the social cohesion (to the point of being stiffing depending on who you ask).
