So, it’s been probably a week since I’ve given you an update, and I’m gonna be real about this.

When I started this game I wanted it to be simple, a 5 minute play and that was it, just a fun little side story. However, as I was writing and coding it, I realised how much I can exploit the features of Text Adventure, and new ideas kept popping into my head and the story-writer I’ve always wanted to be came out while doing it. I realised I can do much more than what I originally thought, and that’s what I’m gonna do.

I planned on releasing it today, it’s technically almost finished, but then I thought: “I’m going to make the game I’ve always wanted to make”.

So, I’m going to make a full game, not just a side game for IDV. It’s going to have its own story, with real detective work. And by real, I mean real. You’re going to have to look for clues online, read about real-life cases to solve in-game mysteries, and I’m probably going to hide clues right in this sub too, and it’s going to have multiple endings depending on your choices.

Originally, it was going to only have one ending, but I want to do much more with it, and I think I can do it.

Of course, this means it’s going to take longer to make, so I apologise for that. It’s going to take weeks to do, and maybe a couple of months.

All I hope is you don’t forget about my game and are still eager to play it. I’ll try to post updates about it and the sorts, and it’s going to be 100% free-to-play, you’re not going to have to pay a cent to play it, though you could donate if you want to support my effort.

I also plan on developing other games, I want to become a game creator and you guys gave me the opportunity to bring you my first ever game and inspired me to create things I can leave in this world that will hopefully inspire others.
